| All our hardwood logs contain only well seasoned firewood such as Ash, Beech, Birch, Cherry & Oak all these firewood's are ideal for wood burners, stoves and most importantly open fires as they do not spit like softwood which makes hardwood alot safer for open fires. The benifits of hardwood are great heat output, Burns longer and slower which makes buying hardwood much more cost effective when your burning logs on a regular bases throughout the cold winter months. |

Softwood Logs are ideal for stoves and wood burners for customers who are new to wood burning and are looking for the easyest firewood to burn, as some hardwoods take alot more heat to light and burn then softwood logs, Well seasoned softwood is fine to burn in stoves. And is only a problem when burn't green as it contains high level of sap. This being the case all our softwood logs are seasoned for 2 - 3 years so there REALLY DRY. We do not recommend buying 100% Softwood as Softwood burns very fast but is great for getting your fire started, so we sell Mixed Firewood which contains hardwood & Softwood and can last upto twice as long.
